Sales Director, South China

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships in South China.
• Understand client needs and deliver relevant Morningstar solutions through consultative selling.
• Manage sales opportunities from proposal and negotiation through contracting and closing.
• Support client renewals, including quotations, commercial discussions and contract coordination.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Support tender/bidding documentation and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Finance, Legal and other internal teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant B2B sales, account management or renewal experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, data or software.
• Strong client relationship management, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with financial institutions is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and commercial execution.
• Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English.

Success in this role will reflect a balanced contribution across new business, renewals, client retention and account growth.
