SAP Application Security Technical Expert (S/4TRBK)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Security Technical Expert to join a high-profile SAP S/4HANA Core Banking transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, governance, and operational support of SAP Logical Access Management (LAM) across the SAP S/4TRBK landscape, ensuring compliance with organisational security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, analyse and deploy SAP Application Security solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Perform SAP role design, role maintenance and authorisation management.
• Process user provisioning and deprovisioning requests for SAP S/4TRBK environments.
• Conduct SAP identity, role and authorisation analysis using SAP security reporting tools, including SUIM.
• Ensure compliance with Logical Access Management (LAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) standards.
• Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and scrum meetings.
• Assess and technically validate SAP access requests.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents and change requests through established service management processes.
• Engage with SAP support through the SAP for Me Portal where required.
• Maintain programme schedules and update project management tools including SAP and ALM Octane.
• Apply audit principles relating to Validity, Accuracy and Completeness (VAC).
• Ensure alignment with Information Security principles of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA).
• Support security governance and compliance activities across the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with project teams, SAP specialists and programme stakeholders to ensure secure solution delivery.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years' SAP Logical Access Management implementation and support experience.
• Proven SAP Application Security implementation experience covering analysis, design, build and deployment.
• Intermediate to advanced SAP Core Banking project experience.
• Demonstrated SAP S/4HANA Application Security delivery experience.
• Experience supporting both project implementation and operational environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile project delivery and product development methodologies.
• SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BusinessObjects exposure.
• Jira and Confluence proficiency, including backlog management and user story creation.
• Experience linking Jira artefacts to Confluence documentation.
• SAP S/4TRBK Logical Access Management implementation experience.
• Knowledge of AI tools, automation and prompt engineering.

Qualifications:

• SAP GRC 12.0 Certification.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – Security Administrator with SAP S/4HANA authorisation concepts.
• Relevant SAP S/4HANA Application Security certification.
