SAP FI Integration Lead

For a long-term international SAP S/4HANA project with a top-tier global client, we are looking for an experienced professional who combines strong SAP FI expertise with hands-on experience in leading and coordinating integrations with external systems.

Work model: mainly remote
Travel: availability to travel to the client approximately once per quarter
Project: international, long-term

This is primarily a leadership and coordination role. We are not looking for a hands-on configurator or an integration developer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA FI integrations with external systems.
• Oversee interface planning, preparation and readiness for integration testing.
• Coordinate and support SIT across international rollouts.
• Work closely with SAP teams, Integration Teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Monitor progress, dependencies, gaps and risks.
• Support rollouts to additional countries, including local tax, reporting and e-invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate consultants and teams involved in finance integrations.

Requirements

Strong experience in SAP FI, especially:

• • GL
  • AR
  • AP
  • Tax
  • Period-end closing
• Good knowledge of SAP CO, especially controlling structures, profit centers and cost allocation.
• Good understanding of R2R, intercompany, consolidation and tax/reporting processes.
• Experience coordinating SAP integrations with external systems.
• Experience preparing and leading SIT.
• Experience in international SAP rollouts.
• Previous experience leading or coordinating consultant teams.
• Very good English.

Integration landscape
SAP FI is integrated with a broad range of finance and business applications, including solutions for:

• financial close and reconciliation,
• consolidation,
• tax and e-invoicing,
• accounts receivable and cash application,
• invoice management,
• payment platforms.

Experience with solutions such as BlackLine, Oracle HFM, OpenText VIM, HighRadius, SAP DRC or similar tools would be an advantage.

Knowledge of all of these systems is not required.

Integration technologies

Experience with some of the following will be useful:

• APIs
• IDocs
• SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite
• PI/PO or other middleware platforms

Hands-on integration development is not required. What matters most is strong functional understanding of finance processes, integration dependencies and the ability to lead topics across multiple teams.
