Senior AI Evangelist
About TDC Brands
TDC Brands is home to YouSee, TDC Erhverv, Telmore, Hiper, eesy and Relatel — around 3,000 employees and roughly 6 million consumer and business customer relationships in Denmark. We are the commercial and service side of Danish telecom; TDC NET owns and runs the physical network.
That shapes this role. The AI opportunity here is in customer experience, service operations, digital channels, sales and the work of our own employees — millions of interactions every month, across six brands and two very different markets.
Why this role exists
We have a data foundation in place and several AI initiatives already underway. What this role adds is continuity: someone to take promising ideas through to production safely, and to help teams across the business get comfortable using them.
The work is part advocate, part builder. Expect to spend your time fairly evenly between convincing, designing and prototyping.
What you’ll do
- Find the work that matters. Cut through the long list of possible AI use cases and identify the handful — across customer service, digital channels, sales, support and internal productivity — with real value behind them.
- Bring people with you. Workshops, demos, mentoring and straight answers to executives about what AI will and won’t do for them. Build confidence and capability across teams that don’t start out fluent in this.
- Build, not just advise. You’ll prototype yourself. A credible working demo moves this organisation faster than a deck, and you’ll produce both.
- Design for production. Enterprise-grade patterns for LLM applications, RAG, agent orchestration and the surrounding API, data and identity plumbing, across a multi-brand landscape.
- Set the guardrails. Define our Responsible AI approach in practical terms: evaluation, human oversight, data privacy, model risk, EU AI Act and GDPR alignment — as engineering standards, not a policy PDF.
- Make the path repeatable. Turn one-off successes into reusable patterns so the second and third team move faster than the first.
Your first year
- Three to five high-value use cases identified, prototyped and assessed on evidence rather than enthusiasm.
- At least one of them live in production, with monitoring, evaluation and a named owner.
- A Responsible AI standard that teams actually use, because it comes with tooling and reference implementations.
- Colleagues across business and technology who can tell you, accurately, where AI fits in their work and where it doesn’t.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years in technology, with depth in AI/ML, data or solution architecture.
- Hands-on experience building with generative and agentic AI — LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, evaluation — not only overseeing it.
- A track record of taking systems into production in a large or regulated organisation, and of designing for security, privacy and failure.
- The presence to lead a room: excellent communication and storytelling, and the judgement to tell a real use case from an expensive demo — and to explain that difference to both engineers and executives.
- Comfort working across organisational boundaries in an international, distributed environment.
If you meet most of this and the rest is learnable, we’d still like to hear from you.
Also useful, not required
- Telecom domain knowledge — BSS/OSS, customer operations, order management, digital self-service channels.
- Experience with Azure AI, AWS or Google Cloud AI services.
- Familiarity with AI security, model risk management, observability and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience defining governance that engineering teams adopt willingly.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, AI, data or security.
Practical details
- Location: Teglholmsgade 1, Copenhagen. Hybrid, with four days a week on site.
- Team: You’ll join Data & AI, a team of around 40 people.
- Language: English is our main language of communication. Danish is an advantage.
How to apply
Send your CV and a short note - half a page is plenty - describing one AI use case you’d look at first in a consumer telecom business and why. No formal cover letter needed.
