Senior Auditor

Role Description The Senior Auditor will perform independent reviews of internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance processes related to investment banking and capital markets activities. This part-time, remote role includes planning and executing audit engagements, testing key controls, analyzing financial and operational data, and preparing clear audit reports with actionable recommendations. The Senior Auditor will collaborate with business units to understand processes, assess regulatory and policy adherence, and support remediation efforts. The role also involves contributing to the audit plan, identifying emerging risks, and helping enhance audit methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong audit and assurance skills, including experience with internal audit, control testing, and risk assessment in financial services or capital markets.
• Knowledge of banking, investment banking, or capital markets operations, including products such as fixed income, equity, securitization, and M&A advisory.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, data review, and documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Brazilian and international financial markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines while maintaining high professional standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CRC, CPA) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to objectivity and confidentiality in audit activities.
