We are partnering with a leading financial institution in Greece to recruit a Senior Switching Systems Specialist / Project Lead to join a highly autonomous, mission-critical team shaping the future of Card Transactions Processing.

What you’ll do:

• Drive end-to-end Card Transaction Processing workflows—from authorization and connectivity to final transaction settlement (happening in milliseconds).
• Manage critical relationships with external Vendors & Card Schemes (DIAS, Visa, Mastercard).
• Collaborate seamlessly across multi-disciplinary teams (Mainframe/Infrastructure, Cloud, Open & Decentralized Systems, Databases) to solve complex operational and architecture challenges.
• Ensure maximum Reliability, Robustness, and 24/7 Operations for high-volume financial transactions.
• Lead end-to-end Project & Delivery Management for your dedicated project scope.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for professionals with 5+ years of experience in Cards Transactions / Payments / POS coming from either of these two paths:

1. Business/Product-oriented Background: Strong functional expertise in Cards/Payments with enough technical literacy (Cloud, DBs, Systems) to comfortably lead conversations with engineering teams.
2. Tech-oriented Background: Strong engineering/systems foundation in Payments looking to step up into a high-visibility, business & stakeholder-facing role with strong communication demands.

Key Requirements:

• Deep functional understanding of Card Transactions / Payment Processing (Banking/Fintech domain).
• Proven track record in Vendor & Stakeholder Management.
• Solid understanding of operational resilience, 24/7 mission-critical environments, and high-availability systems.
• Strong communication, ownership, and project delivery mindset.
