Senior Construction Planner

Role Description The Senior Construction Planner will play a key role in coordinating and planning construction-related activities that support logistics and infrastructure projects. This part-time, hybrid position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed construction schedules, aligning project plans with operational requirements, and monitoring progress against milestones and budgets. The role involves close collaboration with project control teams, procurement specialists, and construction managers to optimize resource allocation, manage risks, and maintain clear documentation. The Senior Construction Planner will also contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing project performance, updating planning tools, and proposing process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Planning and Project Planning to create, maintain, and optimize project schedules and workflows.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Control skills to track progress, manage risks, and report on costs, timelines, and performance indicators.
• Candidates should possess Procurement and Construction skills to coordinate material sourcing, understand site requirements, and support execution activities.
• Relevant experience in logistics, infrastructure, or industrial projects, ideally in the Middle East region.
• Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related field; advanced certifications in project planning or project management are an advantage.
