The successful candidate will develop security procedures, assess document handling controls, investigate suspected confidentiality breaches, and coordinate with examination boards, educational institutions, IT security teams, and authorized assessment personnel. This is a fully remote position requiring strong information security knowledge, careful handling of confidential materials, and an understanding of examination administration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the review and monitoring of digital security controls protecting confidential examination papers and assessment materials.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for secure creation, storage, access, transmission, and archival of examination documents.
  • Review access permissions for examination content repositories and ensure that access is limited to approved personnel.
  • Monitor digital access logs, document activity records, and system alerts to identify unusual or unauthorized access patterns.
  • Assess risks associated with examination paper storage, file sharing, printing workflows, digital distribution, and document transfers.
  • Review encryption, authentication, access management, and secure document delivery controls used by examination platforms.
  • Support the implementation of role-based access control and segregation-of-duties requirements for examination content.
  • Evaluate the security of digital examination paper repositories, document management platforms, and assessment preparation systems.
  • Review document version histories and access records to identify unauthorized changes, duplication, or suspicious activity.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to investigate suspected examination content leaks, compromised accounts, or confidentiality incidents.
  • Maintain incident registers, investigation records, security review reports, and corrective action documentation.
  • Develop security checklists and risk assessment frameworks for examination paper preparation and handling workflows.
  • Review third-party service arrangements involving secure document storage, assessment platforms, and examination material distribution.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and security testing of systems used to manage confidential examination content.
  • Monitor compliance with institutional examination security policies, information governance standards, and applicable data protection requirements.
  • Recommend improvements to digital watermarking, document tracking, access expiry, authentication, and secure file transfer processes.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and identify inactive accounts, excessive privileges, and inappropriate access permissions.
  • Coordinate remote security awareness sessions for staff involved in examination content preparation and administration.
  • Support internal audits by providing documented evidence of security controls, access reviews, and incident management activities.
  • Prepare management reports covering security risks, access exceptions, incident trends, and remediation progress.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in information security, document security, data protection, or secure records management.
  • Strong understanding of examination administration workflows and the confidentiality requirements associated with assessment materials.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, availability, and least-privilege access.
  • Experience with identity and access management, role-based access controls, multifactor authentication, and privileged access management.
  • Familiarity with encryption technologies, secure file transfer protocols, digital document protection, and access logging.
  • Experience reviewing audit trails, security event records, document histories, and suspicious access activity.
  • Understanding of information security risk assessment, incident response, and corrective action management.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, secure content repositories, learning management systems, and examination platforms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and information security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and relevant data protection requirements.
  • Experience with security monitoring platforms, SIEM tools, or vulnerability management solutions is an advantage.
  • Understanding of digital watermarking, document classification, data loss prevention, and secure collaboration technologies.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, particularly when reviewing access anomalies and potential confidentiality breaches.
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to coordinate with examination administrators, IT teams, cybersecurity specialists, and external service providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple security reviews in a fully remote environment.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or ISO/IEC 27001 credentials are an advantage.
What We Offer
  • A 100% remote, work-from-home opportunity based in the UAE.
  • The opportunity to strengthen the confidentiality and integrity of examination and assessment processes.
  • Exposure to secure document management, cybersecurity monitoring, and examination technology platforms.
  • A collaborative environment involving education, information security, and technology professionals.
