What You’ll Do

• Lead key month-end activities, including journals, accruals, financial results reviews and balance sheet reconciliations
• Turn financial results into clear insights by analysing performance, technology project spend, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow for management and CFO reporting
• Own rolling cash flow forecasts, partnering with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and clearly explain material variances, risks and opportunities
• Provide technical accounting guidance across technology projects, capital expenditure, capital work in progress, intangible assets, SaaS arrangements and impairment considerations
• Simplify and automate recurring finance processes using Oracle Cloud, SmartView, Power BI, Excel and related tools.
  
  
  

Your Experience

• At least five years’ experience in financial accounting or financial control roles
• A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or a related discipline, together with CA, CPA or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong Australian Accounting Standards knowledge and hands-on experience across month-end, journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Experience with capital expenditure, fixed assets or intangible asset accounting, plus demonstrated cash flow forecasting capability
• Advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail and the confidence to explain and constructively challenge financial matters with stakeholders
