Contract | €600 per day
Location: Dublin (4 days per week onsite with WFH)
Contract Duration: Initialy 6 Months but will renew long term

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack GenAI Developer to join their technology team on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications that integrate Generative AI capabilities. This role requires strong full-stack development experience, particularly across Python, Generative AI, modern frontend technologies, APIs and databases.

The Role

You will work across frontend, backend, API and data layers to develop scalable enterprise applications and AI-powered solutions.

Working within an established technology team, you will contribute to the design, development, integration and ongoing support of business-critical applications, with a particular focus on Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise Generative AI applications across frontend, backend and database layers.

• Develop AI-powered capabilities using Python, AI/ML libraries and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Design and implement AI workflows, prompt engineering solutions and integrations with external AI services.

• Build and maintain modern web applications using Angular or React.

• Develop backend services using Node.js and Express.

• Design, develop and integrate secure RESTful APIs.

• Develop and optimise SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures and database components.

• Design and support ETL processes, data integration pipelines and data engineering solutions.

• Implement secure authentication and authorisation using OAuth2 and related security protocols.

• Utilise Redis and other performance optimisation techniques to improve application scalability.

• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure and maintainable solutions.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 6-8 years of commercial software development experience, ideally across full-stack enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Python.

• Practical experience working with Generative AI, LLMs and AI/ML libraries.

• Experience integrating LLMs and external AI services into enterprise applications.

• Strong frontend development experience using Angular or React.

• Backend development experience using Node.js and Express.

• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Good SQL database development experience, including SQL/PLSQL, queries and stored procedures.

• Experience developing or supporting ETL processes and data integration pipelines.

• Understanding of secure application development, including OAuth2 authentication and authorisation.

• Familiarity with Redis, application performance optimisation and scalable system design.

• Ability to work independently and contribute to the delivery of complex technical solutions.
  
  

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within financial services or other large enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience delivering production Generative AI applications.

• Experience with prompt engineering, AI workflows and LLM integrations.

• Knowledge of modern software architecture and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience developing secure, high-performance applications handling complex data requirements.
