Senior Full Stack Web Developer

Job Context: Riseup Labs is looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead the design and development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, along with a strong understanding of database management. Collaboration with teams, code reviews, and mentorship will be key responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, architect, and develop innovative features. Serve as an ambassador for best web practices, advising on capabilities and limitations, and sharing your expertise. Contribute to our codebase with clean, tested, and observable code. Transform wireframes and high-fidelity comps into robust, efficient, and functional code. Own your code from inception to release, ensuring it’s polished and correct before going live. Evaluate, improve, and optimize our codebase continuously. Educational Requirements: B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university. Additional Requirements: Proven track record of owning architecture and design decisions on large-scale consumer websites. Full stack experience, including API development. Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Design teams. Experience working in Agile environments. Mastery of JavaScript, with a deep understanding of closures, lexical scope, and prototypical inheritance. Expertise in React and Node.js. Proficiency in modern web technologies. Confidence in taking ownership of end-to-end architecture documentation.
