Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design and delivery of interior projects that support Sci Infinity’s mission and brand, including learning spaces, research environments, offices, and event areas. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior concepts, preparing design presentations, coordinating space planning, and producing detailed drawings and specifications. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and external vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through construction and fit-out. The role also involves selecting FF&E, overseeing quality and finishes, aligning designs with budget and timelines, and mentoring junior team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with experience leading end-to-end project design.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to create efficient, functional, and aesthetically aligned environments.
• Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for implementation.
• Expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar) and familiarity with industry standards.
• Proven experience in commercial, educational, or research facility design, ideally in a leadership or senior role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work part time in a hybrid setup in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, while managing deadlines and multiple projects responsibly.
