Summary

CHS is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. We are committed to empowering our employees with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles and grow within the company.

We are looking for a Senior Learning and Development Operations Coordinator who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems and is excited to help shape how L&D work gets done. Reporting to the Operations Director of Learning and Development, this role goes beyond traditional training coordination. It is an opportunity to contribute across programs, projects, processes, technology and day-to-day L&D operations.

We are looking for a curious, adaptable and hands-on individual who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, learning new things and jumping in where needed. The right person will be a self-directed learner who enjoys figuring things out, experimenting with new approaches and continually asking, “How can we do this better?”

Technology and innovation will be an important part of that mindset. From AI and automation to Power BI, bots and our enterprise LMS, this role will help explore how emerging capabilities can simplify work, improve processes and data insights, and enable L&D to better support employee development across CHS.

This is a hybrid role that has the flexibility to work 3 days per week at our Inver Grove Heights headquarters and 2 days per week at home.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Vendors and Learning Resources: Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to order, maintain, and coordinate training toolkits, materials, supplies, and other resources needed to support learning delivery.
  • Manage Projects and Priorities: Take ownership of projects and operational assignments, coordinating activities, timelines, stakeholders, and details to support successful execution of L&D programs and initiatives.

What You will Bring

  • Bring a Hands-On, Adaptable Mindset: Work comfortably across a wide variety of responsibilities, jump in where needed, and take ownership of both planned initiatives and emerging L&D needs.
  • Embrace Continuous Learning: Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in independently learning new tools, technologies, processes, and capabilities to expand personal skills and better support the L&D function.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, solve problems, and challenge existing ways of working to create better experiences for employees and the L&D team.
  • Explore Technology and Automation: Identify opportunities to leverage technologies such as AI, Power BI, automation, bots, Microsoft tools, and the enterprise LMS to streamline work, improve insights, and strengthen L&D operations.
  • Turn Ideas into Solutions: Experiment with new approaches, help translate ideas into practical solutions, and collaborate with others to test and implement improvements.
  • Support an Evolving L&D Function: Remain flexible as priorities, technology, and business needs evolve, contributing across programs, projects, systems, data, and operational initiatives that enable learning and development across CHS.
