What about your future team?
You’ll be joining the HR team (28 people in France, 1 in Spain), reporting directly to the HR Director in charge of Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and International HR Development. On-site, you’ll work closely with the Country Manager (Marek Kraus) and the German team (currently 11 people: 9 based in Munich, 2 working from Paris).
Our main challenge? Scaling our Munich office from a fast-growing local team into a fully operational, compliant, and thriving hub, while embedding Lucca’s strong culture and recruiting top talent to drive our expansion in Germany. We target to double the size of the German team in 2027, to have 23 people dedicated to the German market.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Local HR Manager, you will act as a true HR Generalist on-site: taking end-to-end ownership of Talent Acquisition, HR operations, payroll coordination, HR Business partnering the local employees, and globally take care of the people's experience to support Lucca’s growth in Germany.

- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding (30% of your time): Drive end-to-end recruitment for our German team - alongside our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager dedicated to the International hires - build local sourcing strategies, and partner with our Employer branding manager to establish Lucca’s employer brand in Munich.
- HR Business Partnering (25%): Act as the primary trusted advisor for local employees and managers, coaching them on performance, career development, and conflict resolution.
- HR Operations & Payroll (20%): Manage the complete employee administrative lifecycle (contracts, HRIS, onboarding) and coordinate monthly payroll with our local external provider in full compliance with German labor law.
- Compensation & Benefits (10%): Support the global C&B Specialist in shaping and refining local compensation grids, benchmark benefits, and take an active part in the implementation of a attractive reward strategies adapted to the German market.
- Office & Employee Experience (10%): Oversee local workplace logistics in our Munich coworking space (access, badges, equipment) and organize team rituals, onboarding, and local events to both build and keep Lucca’s culture alive.
Requirements

You’re the right fit if you…
☐ Have minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HRBP, ideally in a fast-growing tech company or international scale-up in Germany
☐ Possess strong hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition in the German market
☐ Hold a solid understanding of German labor law basics, HR administrative processes, and payroll management (coordinating with an external provider)
☐ Speak fluent/native German (essential for local employee relations, legal compliance, and office management) and have a C1 level in English to collaborate seamlessly with the HR team and Luccasians in general
☐ Combine strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an approachable, empathetic, and solution-oriented mindset.

- Step 2: Interview with your future Manager (60 min)
- Step 3: Case study presentation with your Manager, the Country Manager and some people from the German team (60 min)
