Senior Oracle Database Engineer (Exadata & ExaCC)

We are planning to induct a Senior Oracle Database Engineer into our growing Oracle Practice team!

As an Oracle Oldest Partner in Pakistan, we deliver world-class managed services and expert consulting to enterprise clients.

This role is a perfect hybrid opportunity for an experienced DBA to bridge the gap between traditional core infrastructure administration and modern cloud operations.

In this role, you will look after our clients' business-critical systems, managing both traditional On-Premises Exadata racks and Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) platforms.

🔹 What you’ll do:

• Manage physical Exadata infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) and handle ExaCC environments via the OCI Cloud Console.
• Execute quarterly patching cycles—running manual updates on-prem and orchestrating automated cloud updates on ExaCC.
• Maintain high-availability database architectures using Oracle RAC, ASM, and Multitenant.
• Secure data using robust backup strategies (RMAN / OCI Object Storage) and configure Disaster Recovery via Data Guard.
• Act as the primary technical link between our enterprise clients and Oracle Support.

🔹 What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing physical Oracle Exadata machines.
• Solid experience navigating the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) dashboard and cloud tools (dbaascli).
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database (19c/23c), Grid Infrastructure, and Linux troubleshooting.
• A client-facing, consultative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Active Oracle Exadata or OCI Database Cloud Service professional certifications.
