About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Postal Address Validation Specialist to oversee address quality, validation standards, and postal data accuracy across customer, supplier, and operational databases. This role focuses on improving address completeness, consistency, deliverability, and geographic accuracy through structured validation processes, data analysis, and quality assurance.

The successful candidate will develop address verification procedures, investigate data discrepancies, coordinate correction workflows, and support integrations with postal reference databases, geocoding platforms, and customer information systems. The position is entirely remote and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of postal addressing conventions across different regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead postal address validation and data quality activities across multiple business systems and databases.
• Review address records for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with recognized postal formatting conventions.
• Develop and maintain address validation rules, standardized formats, and data cleansing procedures.
• Identify incomplete, duplicated, inconsistent, outdated, or potentially undeliverable address records.
• Validate street names, building numbers, unit details, postal codes, cities, regions, and country information.
• Assess address records against approved postal reference datasets and authorized address verification services.
• Coordinate address correction, enrichment, normalization, and deduplication initiatives.
• Analyze address validation exceptions and investigate recurring data quality problems.
• Establish quality indicators and reporting metrics for address accuracy, completeness, and validation success rates.
• Monitor address data quality trends and recommend improvements to reduce failed deliveries and returned correspondence.
• Support the integration of address validation tools with CRM, ERP, e-commerce, logistics, and customer management platforms.
• Review geocoding results and investigate discrepancies between textual addresses and geographic coordinates.
• Develop procedures for handling international addresses, alternative postal formats, and region-specific addressing requirements.
• Collaborate remotely with customer service, logistics, operations, IT, and data management teams to resolve address-related issues.
• Maintain validation logs, exception reports, process documentation, and audit-ready records.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in postal address validation, master data management, data quality assurance, or customer information management.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international postal addressing structures and formatting conventions.
• Experience using address verification platforms, postal reference datasets, geocoding services, or data cleansing tools.
• Knowledge of data normalization, standardization, deduplication, and record matching techniques.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, logistics, and customer database environments.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying address quality patterns and anomalies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; experience with SQL or data analytics platforms is advantageous.
• Understanding of address validation APIs, automated data processing, and system integration concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when handling incomplete or conflicting address information.
