Gapp Search is expanding its Manufacturing division, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Cape Town team.

This is an account management and delivery-focused recruitment role working with established UK clients. You'll manage live vacancies from brief through to placement, taking responsibility for candidate attraction, screening, interview management and offer process.

There is no expectation that you spend your day cold-calling for new clients. The emphasis is on delivering properly for the clients and candidates you work with.

The role

• Manage vacancies across manufacturing and engineering clients
• Write and post job adverts
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, headhunting, our CRM and advertising
• Screen and interview candidates properly before submission
• Manage candidate shortlists and client feedback
• Prepare candidates for interviews
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication throughout the process
• Present and manage offers
• Build strong relationships with both clients and candidates
• Keep recruitment activity and candidate information accurate and organised

What we're looking for

You'll need at least 4 years' recruitment agency experience and a proven record of managing vacancies through to placement.

You don't necessarily need to come from manufacturing recruitment, but you do need to understand professional recruitment and be comfortable headhunting and assessing candidates rather than relying purely on job-board applications.
