Senior Security Engineer (Microsoft Sentinel)

Location: Oasis Square, Ara Damansara

Employment: 1-Year Contract (Renewable, with potential permanent conversion to client)

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Office, 2 Days WFH)

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Joining Availability: Within 45 Days

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
• Develop KQL queries for threat hunting and incident investigations.
• Handle security incidents, phishing investigations, and incident response within defined SLAs.
• Perform threat analysis and map incidents to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Support Microsoft Defender, SIEM integrations, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities to improve SOC operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 Years of experience in SOC

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience in SOC operations, SIEM, incident response, and phishing investigations.
• Good understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and threat hunting.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
