Senior Supply Chain Analyst

This role is fully remote.

A Senior Supply Chain Analyst is required for our client based in Galway. The successful candidate will support consistency across global demand management processes, system configuration and integration with supply planning and operational execution. The role involves improving demand planning processes, supporting demand reviews, providing analytical insights and driving continuous improvement across global planning teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work with global demand management leaders to establish consistent demand planning processes and promote best practice across functions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP IBP, supporting its use in demand management processes.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve demand plan creation and alignment with supply chain activities.
• Coach and support demand planners and planning teams in implementing process and procedure improvements.
• Analyse and maintain forecast profiles, assigning statistical models to product and customer combinations to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review and refine system-generated statistical forecasts that do not meet validation requirements.
• Produce analyses to support demand and supply planning, demand reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain training programmes covering demand and supply planning processes and optimisation.
• Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote planning best practices globally.
• Provide guidance and support to global demand management teams.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving and process improvement projects.
• Ensure all activities comply with the applicable quality management system.
• Provide enhanced support following the implementation of new processes or systems.
• Represent demand management as a subject matter expert in internal and external meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum seven years’ experience working with demand planning systems.
• Experience in demand planning and/or supply chain processes, with a good understanding of sales, marketing and finance processes.
• Extensive experience with forecasting tools and advanced forecasting methods.
• Data analysis skills, including proficiency with Excel, Access and Tableau.
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, SAP IBP, SAP BW and Tableau is advantageous.
