Re:work is a small, independent talent consultancy working with some of the world's fastest-growing tech companies. Since 2017, we've partnered with businesses including Legora, Perk, Monzo, Notion, Trustly, Deliveroo and Doctolib, helping them find exceptional people and build teams through important stages of growth.
Our work combines retained search and embedded talent partnering. Sometimes we're brought in to lead a critical senior hire. Other times, we become an extension of a client's internal Talent team, helping them build out functions, improve how they hire or tackle particularly challenging searches.
We work primarily across Europe and the US, with a strong focus on People, Talent and leadership hiring, alongside broader recruitment projects for our embedded clients. We're currently a fully remote team based across Ireland and North Macedonia.
We've deliberately kept Re:work small. We work with a handful of clients at a time, build close relationships with their teams and put a lot of care into the work we deliver. We value long-term partnerships and doing great work over growing for the sake of growth.
The opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Talent Partner to join us in the UK on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential to extend or become permanent.
This is a hands-on recruitment role focused entirely on client delivery. There are no business development responsibilities, sales targets or expectations to bring in new clients.
You'll work across a small number of client partnerships, leading senior and specialist searches and working directly with experienced hiring leaders across Europe and the US.
The work is varied and often complex. You might be mapping the market for a senior People leader in New York, helping a VP Talent build out their recruiting team across Europe or working closely with a client to figure out what they need before a search even begins.
We're looking for someone who enjoys the detail of recruitment, takes ownership of their work and knows what great delivery looks like. You'll have the freedom to run your searches, build relationships and make decisions, with the support of a small team who care about doing things well.
What you'll be doing
- Owning searches from start to finish. From initial briefing and market mapping through to candidate engagement, interviews, references and offers.
- Partnering with senior hiring leaders. Building trusted relationships, understanding their businesses and helping shape hiring decisions rather than simply working through a brief.
- Finding exceptional people. Getting into the detail of a market, identifying hard-to-reach talent and developing thoughtful, personalised approaches to engage them.
- Managing candidate relationships. Providing a consistently great experience through clear communication, preparation, honest feedback and follow-through. Many of our candidates go on to become clients, so these relationships are incredibly important to us.
- Bringing insight and judgement. Sharing market intelligence, challenging assumptions and helping clients make better hiring decisions.
- Delivering to a high standard. Taking responsibility for the quality of your work, keeping searches moving and making sure clients and candidates feel well looked after.
- Working closely with the team. Sharing ideas, contributing to how we approach searches and supporting colleagues across our client projects.
What we're ideally looking for
- Proven experience ideally in embedded recruitment or an internal Talent team in a tech scale-up.
- A strong track record of delivering senior, specialist or hard-to-fill searches, ideally within tech businesses.
- Excellent sourcing and research skills. You enjoy understanding a market, identifying great people and finding ways to engage candidates who aren't actively looking.
- Experience recruiting internationally, ideally across Europe or the US.
- Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, including the ability to challenge a brief and offer an informed point of view.
- Strong candidate management skills and a genuine interest in building relationships beyond individual searches.
- The independence to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and maintain a high standard without close supervision.
- Good judgement, attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working with others.
Experience recruiting within People and Talent Acquisition would be a real advantage, but we're equally interested in great recruiters from other specialisms. We're particularly interested in people who are comfortable with ambiguity. Our clients are often growing quickly, and the brief isn't always perfectly defined. You'll need to ask good questions, understand what's important and help bring clarity to the search.
Above all, we want someone who takes pride in their work. Someone who's thoughtful in their approach, dependable in their delivery and genuinely interested in finding the right people.
Why Re:work?
We're not trying to build a big recruitment agency. We want to work with interesting companies, build relationships that last and give our team the freedom to do the work they enjoy.
You'll get to work directly with senior People, Talent and business leaders at some of the most ambitious companies in tech, helping them solve hiring challenges at important stages of their growth.
You'll also have the freedom to focus on what you do best. No business development, no placement targets and no pressure to prioritise volume over quality. We care about the standard of your work, the relationships you build and the trust you earn from our clients.
We're a small, fully remote team who work closely together, share ideas and support each other. You'll have real ownership of your searches, plenty of flexibility and the opportunity to influence how we work.
We don't believe great recruitment is about the number of calls you make or how many candidates you send to a client. We care about understanding the brief, finding the right people and delivering an experience that builds trust with everyone involved.
