CyberPro Consulting is looking for an exceptional Senior Technical Lead with deep Cisco networking and security expertise for a 12-month contract based in Johannesburg.

This opportunity is for a technically strong specialist who can do more than oversee delivery. You must understand complex enterprise networking, troubleshoot difficult security and connectivity issues, challenge technical decisions and ensure implementations are delivered, tested and ready for operational handover.

Immediate availability is essential. Candidates with notice periods will unfortunately not be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead technical implementation and assurance across enterprise networking, secure access and endpoint-management platforms.
  

• Translate approved architecture into practical implementation, testing and deployment plans.
  

• Troubleshoot complex network, firewall, VPN, routing, authentication and connectivity issues.
  

• Oversee Cisco Secure Access and Zero Trust implementations, including access policies, identity integration and secure application connectivity.
  

• Provide technical oversight of ManageEngine Endpoint Central and Microsoft Intune deployments and configurations.
  

• Coordinate internal technical teams and managed-service providers, ensuring delivery meets agreed technical and security standards.
  

• Drive root-cause analysis, resolve technical gaps and ensure production readiness.
  

• Ensure technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge transfer and service handover are completed.
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive enterprise networking and security experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  

• Expert-level Cisco networking knowledge, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN/IPsec and complex troubleshooting.
  

• Hands-on Cisco Secure Access experience, including Zero Trust, Secure Internet Access, Cisco Secure Client and access-policy implementation.
  

• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA and certificate-based authentication.
  

• Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central and Microsoft Intune.
  

• Practical PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  

• Proven experience leading complex technical implementations from assessment and planning through testing, deployment and operational handover.
  

• Experience coordinating technical teams and holding managed-service providers accountable for delivery and quality.
  

• Strong technical documentation, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
  

Certification requirement: CCIE is mandatory, or candidates must demonstrate equivalent senior-level Cisco expertise through substantial hands-on experience delivering and troubleshooting complex enterprise Cisco environments.
