Service Engineer

Field service technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various systems and equipment. They are responsible for installing, repair ing , maintain ing , and troubleshoot ing equipment at client sites, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Working closely with HQ teams , the position provides critical support s to the success of our proactive customer focused Service s . Accountabilities Installation and Start - up : Provide guidance on installing new equipment, Carry out Start-up after installation to ensure proper functioning of systems Trouble-shooting : Identify and diagnose problems with equipment onsite and remotely , determine the root cause of issues and develop effective solutions ; perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspections , clean up of components Repair and replacement: Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems, and ensure the timely restoration of equipment to its operational state ; process warranty claims by coordinating with global team Technical support: Provide technical guidance and advice to customers, answer questions, and resolve technical issues ; provide operator training and guidance on m aintenance Warranty Claims : Process warranty claims as joint effort with customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of warranty parts; identify parts to be replaced under warranty during & after a site inspection Documentation: Maintain accurate work orders and service reports , including equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacement, and generate reports as required At Veralto, we value diversity and the existence of similarities and differences, both visible and not, found in our workforce, workplace and throughout the markets we serve.
