Service Sales Engineer – Western Africa

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)

Reports to: Africa Sales Manager

Salary: ₦2,500,000 gross monthly

Our client, a global leader in the manufacture of generators, electric motors, drives, and related

industrial equipment, is looking for a Service Sales Engineer to drive service and solutions sales

across the Western African region.

This is a hybrid of technical engineering expertise and business development, perfect for

someone who understands rotating equipment inside and out and is just as comfortable closing

a deal as they are diagnosing a technical problem.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify and develop new customers across Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial sectors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and business partners

• Visit client sites to understand technical needs and operational challenges

• Recommend the right technical solutions, spare parts, maintenance, repairs, upgrades,

workshop services, or replacement equipment

• Prepare and submit commercial proposals and quotations

• Negotiate terms and close sales/orders

• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting

• Work towards sales and order targets

• Representing the company at industry exhibitions and technical events

• Contribute to the sales growth strategy for the West African market

Requirements

• BSc minimum in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial

Electronics, or a closely related technical discipline

• 5-7 years’ experience in engineering sales and within the West African market

• Experience selling industrial services (maintenance, spare parts, repairs, upgrades, etc.)

• Strong technical understanding of generators, motors, drives, or related

rotating/electrical equipment

• Fluent English required; French is a strong advantage

• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as part of the role.
