ServiceNow Developer - ITOM & CMDB (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team, working on a long-term project for a global manufacturer of paints and coatings. In this role, you will support and enhance the ServiceNow platform, which is crucial for internal IT and business processes across EMEA and the US. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom applications and solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements. This is a remote position, allowing you to collaborate with team members across different time zones. Your tasks

• Analyzing and troubleshooting incidents and defects in existing custom applications from root cause to fix
• Developing and maintaining server- and client-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies/Actions
• Enhancing ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request based on business requirements
• Working with CMDB data and ITOM-related functionality, including Discovery and Service Mapping
• Reviewing and refactoring legacy custom code to improve stability and maintainability
• Building and extending Flow Designer flows, workflows, and integrations using REST/SOAP
• Supporting enhancements for Customer Service Management (CSM) and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) as needed
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders across EMEA and US time zones to estimate and deliver backlog items
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in ITOM and CMDB
• Strong scripting skills in ServiceNow, with a focus on troubleshooting and understanding custom implementations
• Proven ability to work independently to solve technical issues beyond standard OOTB configuration
• Experience enhancing ITSM processes based on business requirements
• Advanced level of English
