Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Platform SAM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM), platform development, configuration, customization, and integration.

The consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing ServiceNow SAM solutions to support software asset lifecycle management, software license compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with ServiceNow SAM capabilities and collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
  

• Support software asset lifecycle management processes within the ServiceNow platform.
  

• Configure software asset tracking, license management, and reconciliation workflows.
  

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow platform customizations using JavaScript and related scripting capabilities.
  

• Work with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer to implement business requirements.
  

• Support software license compliance monitoring, normalization, and optimization processes.
  

• Develop and maintain workflows, automation, and integrations supporting SAM operations.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow SAM configurations and platform functionality.
  

• Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
  

• Support system enhancements, testing, deployments, and production issue resolution.
  

• Maintain technical documentation for application configurations, workflows, and integrations.
  

• Follow ServiceNow platform development standards and best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of total and relevant experience in ServiceNow development, with strong exposure to Software Asset Management (SAM).
  

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM configuration and development.
  

• Strong understanding of software asset lifecycle management and software license management.
  

• Experience developing and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform.
  

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
  

• Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
  

• Understanding of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes.
  

• Experience implementing workflow automation and platform enhancements.
  

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow SAM-related technical issues.
  

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and REST APIs.
  

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).
  

• Knowledge of software normalization, discovery, and license reconciliation.
  

• Familiarity with software compliance, license optimization, and asset reporting.
  

• Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
  

• Exposure to ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.
