Job Type: Permanent

Location: These roles are hybrid and can be based out of our London, Birmingham or Edinburgh office.

Salary and benefits: £80,000 - £100,000 DOE plus an indicative bonus range of 30-60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role

As a Skills Solutions Lead, you'll work closely with business leaders, People teams and capability experts to understand future workforce needs and translate them into practical, scalable skills solutions.

You'll play a key role in identifying critical capability gaps, designing development pathways and ensuring skills are embedded throughout the colleague lifecycle – from workforce planning and learning through to talent, performance, hiring and internal mobility.

We have two opportunities available:

Data, Digital & AI Skills Solutions Lead – specialising in future-focused digital, data and AI capability.

Enterprise Skills Solutions Lead – supporting a broad range of enterprise and functional capability priorities.

What you'll be doing

  • Partnering with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and future skills requirements.
  • Using workforce insight and skills data to identify capability gaps and opportunities.
  • Designing and delivering practical, scalable skills solutions and development pathways.
  • Collaborating across Talent, Learning, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition and People Partnering teams.
  • Supporting the adoption and continuous improvement of skills products and frameworks.
  • Measuring impact and using evidence to inform future capability investment.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing enterprise skills priorities

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a practical delivery mindset and is passionate about helping people develop the skills they need to succeed.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in enabling organisations upskill their workforce.
  • Build development interventions and programmes that enable learning in the work that enable sustainable skills that enable business strategy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing skills, learning or capability solutions.
  • A data-led approach to understanding workforce needs and measuring outcomes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across a complex organisation and deliver through others.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
