Role Description

This is a remote role for a Social Media Manager & Content Strategist at The Herbalist Corner. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content and social media strategies that align with the company’s mission, values, and brand voice. Day-to-day tasks include creating and managing content across social media platforms, planning content calendars, writing captions and wellness-focused content, conducting research on health and wellness topics, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

The role also involves analyzing social media and content performance metrics, identifying trends and growth opportunities, managing community engagement, and collaborating with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and business goals. The ideal candidate should be creative, strategic, organized, and passionate about storytelling within the health and wellness space.

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing, copywriting, and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging, high-quality content across social media and digital platforms
• Experience in social media management, content strategy, content marketing, and digital marketing to drive audience growth and engagement
• Strong research, proofreading, and editing skills with a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and brand consistency
• Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics tools to monitor performance and optimize content strategies
• Ability to plan and manage content calendars while staying up to date with social media trends and emerging digital strategies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Understanding of self-care practices and the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industry is considered a strong advantage
• Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
• Passion for wellness, mindful living, community building, and connecting authentically with diverse audiences
