Drawing on over 30 years of defence and healthcare expertise, Battlefield Health provides critical decision support for healthcare professionals, enhancing Continuum of Care, Patient Tracking, and Flow Management. The SitaWare Battlefield Health platform offers a comprehensive multinational setup to manage patient tracking and flow from incident to repatriation, delivering a common operational picture and meeting defence healthcare requirements. You will be part of a distributed team between Aarhus and Bucharest. The position is located in Bucharest as part of a Scrum team consisting of 510 people: Developers, Tester(s), an Architect, a Product Owner / Domain Advisor, and a Project Manager. Make an Impact Every Day as a Senior Software Developer As our Senior Software Developer , you will play a pivotal role in our team, designing and implementing impactful software as part of an international expansion program. You will work on both project-specific developments and core product enhancements, with opportunities for professional and personal growth. Some of your key tasks will be to: Lead technical decisions and guide software architecture; Manage complex development tasks related to integration and core product development; Collaborate within a Scrum-based development team; Work with solution architects and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive development process; Apply healthcare standards; Leverage knowledge of NATO standards; Co-create solutions with domain advisors and users. Are you the talent we've been searching for? Bachelors or Masters degree in software development; 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Angular 10+, TypeScript, J2EE, IntelliJ IDEA and Gradle; Nice to have: C#, React technologies, but willing to learn the tech stack used on the project (Java/Angular); Nice to have: experience in software architecture, knowledge of security aspects and secure communication, experience in integration development; Healthcare or Defence knowledge would be a plus; Fluent English skills; Result-oriented and proactive; Enjoy collaborating across teams and working in an international environment.
