Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, considering functional and non-functional requirements, to ensure thorough test coverage. Identify appropriate testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively validate software applications within the fintech domain. Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Report and track software defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and best practices. Communicate test progress, test results, and quality-related metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into software quality and test coverage. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in software quality control, software testing, or a related role. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jira, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies. Experience with tools. Understanding of various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience in writing automated test scripts. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes. Understanding of the fintech industry, its regulations, compliance requirements, and security best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
