We are looking for a hands-on Solutions Architect to contribute to a complex technology modernisation programme in the international sports and events sector.

You will design and review scalable, secure and integrated solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. The role requires someone who can move beyond high-level governance, actively contribute to solution design and work closely with technical teams throughout implementation.

You will also collaborate with the technical leads responsible for related solution-delivery streams, helping ensure that their architectures integrate successfully with the wider technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Take a hands-on role in solution design, architecture reviews and implementation guidance.
• Design solutions across Azure, AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Define microservices, API-led and event-driven integration architectures.
• Review technical designs and constructively challenge architectural decisions.
• Support the modernisation of existing applications and services.
• Ensure solutions address scalability, availability, security, monitoring and disaster-recovery requirements.
• Define IAM integration approaches involving Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, RBAC and enterprise identity-governance practices.
• Liaise with solution technical leads and delivery teams to facilitate successful implementation.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technical decisions, integration patterns and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, data, security and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a hands-on Solutions Architect or Software Architect.
• Experience designing and supporting the implementation of complex digital solutions.
• Strong experience with microservices, distributed systems and application modernisation.
• Practical experience designing and deploying solutions across Azure, AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Ability to design and deploy solutions on Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of API design, API management and event-driven integration.
• Experience with cloud, on-premises and hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise IAM practices.
• Experience with SSO, RBAC and identity integration.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient and secure solutions.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is valued but not mandatory.
