Job Title: Student SHRM Officer Location: Utah Valley University (UVU) Responsibilities: As a Student SHRM Officer at UVU, you will play a crucial role in our chapter and fostering a vibrant HR community on campus. Your responsibilities will include: Event Planning: Organize and execute engaging events that promote networking, professional development, and knowledge sharing among members. Communication: Effectively communicate with SHRM members, faculty, and external partners. Keep members informed about upcoming events, opportunities, and chapter updates. Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase SHRM's visibility on campus. Create compelling content to attract new members and promote chapter activities. Social Media Management: Maintain active and impactful social media profiles for SHRM. Share relevant content, engage with members, and use social platforms to enhance the chapter's presence. Professional Speaker Outreach: Identify and engage professionals, industry experts, and alumni to serve as guest speakers at SHRM events. Basic Skills Required: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity in event planning and marketing initiatives. Proficient in social media management. Passion for human resources and fostering a collaborative community. Qualifications: Currently enrolled as a student at UVU. Active SHRM chapter member. Demonstrated leadership experience in a student or professional organization.
