Supplier Manager – Maternity Cover
Randstad Sourceright is a global talent leader, providing solutions and expertise that help companies position for growth, execute on strategy, and improve business agility. Sourceright's experience encompasses all facets of talent acquisition, from permanent employees to contingent and contractor workforces. Key offerings include Managed Services Provider (MSP) programs, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), and Blended Workforce Solutions.
About the job:
We are looking for a Supplier Strategy Manager to join our Strategic Supplier Management team on a 12-month maternity cover contract starting January 3rd. In this role, you will oversee supplier relationships and service delivery across key Randstad client accounts, partnering with Procurement, HR, and Talent Acquisition to execute strategic supply chain solutions across MSP, RPO, and SoW programs. You will be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, leading contract negotiations, driving cost-saving initiatives, and managing supplier transitions during new program implementations.
This role is fully remote within EMEA, open to candidates based in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, or Hungary.
What you will do:
- Drive Supply Chain Strategy: Partner with client stakeholders across regional accounts to co-develop supply chain strategies, share recruitment best practices, and advise on solutions for evolving talent needs across MSP, RPO, and SOW programs.
- Lead Contract Negotiations & Commercials: Partner with Legal to finalize supplier agreements, run tender processes, and execute cost-saving initiatives, including rate renegotiations and market-aligned contract terms.
- Cultivate Strategic Supplier Relationships: Manage ongoing relationships with Tier 1 staffing agencies and niche SoW providers, serving as the central point of contact for regional supplier engagement.
- Manage Implementation & Onboarding: Oversee supplier onboarding and roadmap deliverables during new program rollouts, ensuring smooth contractual transitions to RSR and on-time go-live execution.
- Track & Improve Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier quality, delivery speed, and operational metrics using dashboards, performance scorecards, and regular business reviews (QBRs).
- Optimize Program Delivery: Collaborate with internal RSR Delivery teams to resolve operational bottlenecks, analyze market data, and continuously refine and optimize the supplier portfolio.
What we would like you to have:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) alongside 7–10 years in the staffing industry, with a background in Operations Management or supplier relations across global MSP, RPO, and SoW programs.
- You possess proven experience delivering complex program implementations, scaling operations globally, and managing high-volume supplier networks.
- You bring strong commercial acumen and persuasive negotiation skills, supported by deep expertise in MSA and SoW contract language and pricing constructs.
- You offer solid quantitative and financial analytical skills to evaluate operational metrics and market data, paired with proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- You are an autonomous, resilient problem-solver with a high sense of urgency who excels at balancing relationships across internal delivery teams, procurement clients, and external agency partners.
- You must have professional fluency in English, with proficiency in additional European languages (such as Dutch, German, or French) considered a strong advantage.
