About the Role

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordination Assistant / Specialist to support supply chain coordination, procurement, logistics, inventory, and operational activities in the United Arab Emirates.

The successful candidate will coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, warehouses, logistics providers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth information flow and timely execution of supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain activities across procurement, logistics, warehouse, and operations teams.
• Follow up on purchase orders, supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, and outstanding requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain order updates, shipping information, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delivery updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding inbound and outbound goods.
• Assist with inventory availability checks, stock movements, and replenishment activities.
• Support procurement teams with supplier communication and purchasing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, shipments, inventory, suppliers, and delivery information.
• Prepare and update supply chain schedules, trackers, and operational reports.
• Identify delivery delays, stock shortages, discrepancies, and other operational issues.
• Escalate supply chain risks and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs agents, and other external partners when required.
• Assist with import, export, shipping, and logistics documentation.
• Support order fulfillment and coordination between sales, customer service, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Monitor supplier and logistics service performance against agreed timelines.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP, WMS, procurement, or supply chain systems.
• Support supply chain KPI tracking and management reporting.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to improve coordination and operational efficiency.
• Support supply chain projects and other business operations activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Previous experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, procurement, purchasing, inventory, order management, or operations is advantageous.
• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply for the Assistant level.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, procurement, or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, import/export documentation, or customs processes is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• Arabic or additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of the UAE and Middle East supply chain and logistics environment is beneficial.
