The Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (F&B) to strengthen purchasing, inventory, supplier coordination, and supply planning activities. This part-time, fully remote role is ideal for an experienced professional who understands the fast-moving nature of F&B operations and can balance product availability, cost efficiency, quality, and service levels. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to improve supply chain performance and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing, replenishment, and supply planning activities.
• Monitor inventory levels, consumption patterns, and product availability.
• Support supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Coordinate orders, deliveries, lead times, and supply schedules.
• Identify potential shortages, delays, and supply chain risks.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support demand forecasting and seasonal planning for F&B products.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Maintain accurate supplier, product, pricing, and inventory records.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or F&B experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of F&B supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Knowledge of supplier management, purchasing processes, and order coordination.
• Familiarity with food product lead times, perishables, and stock rotation.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and inventory monitoring.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify supply risks and develop practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
