Contract Tech Lead – Data Platform & Simulation | Up to £700/day Outside IR35 | Fully Remote | 12 Months
We’re working with an innovative technology business building a platform that creates a working simulation of how an organisation operates, built from its own data. They need a hands-on Tech Lead to own the build.
Contract
- Up to £700/day, outside IR35
- 12 months, extension likely
- Fully remote (UK)
- ASAP start, by early December
The role
- Own the architecture across data pipelines, a Python simulation core and a Next.js/React product
- Lead a small specialist team while writing production code most of the week
- Set engineering practice and represent engineering to enterprise clients
Essential experience
- Process mining or process/event simulation (e.g. discrete-event simulation, event-log analytics), including calibration and uncertainty
- Production data platforms: Snowflake or similar, plus event data at volume
- B2B SaaS security: multi-tenancy, RBAC, SOC 2 / ISO 27001
- Modern TypeScript (Next.js/React)
- Experience as a tech lead or founding engineer taking a data product into production
