Role Description

The TEFL Teacher Growth Ambassador is a temporary remote role focused on supporting the ScaleWox ecosystem by identifying and recruiting aspiring teachers who want to build an international teaching career.

Your role is to introduce suitable candidates to a structured pathway that combines TEFL teacher training, international teaching opportunities, visa advisory, online teaching experience, specialised training, and customer service skills.

This is suited to people who already have access to communities of graduates, teachers, job seekers, students, career changers, or professionals interested in working abroad.

What You Will Do

• Identify people interested in becoming qualified TEFL teachers.
• Explain the available teacher training and international career pathway clearly.
• Recruit suitable candidates who are serious about developing their careers.
• Help candidates understand how TEFL qualifications can support opportunities in international education.
• Introduce candidates to information about countries where qualified teachers may find employment opportunities and the relevant visa pathways.
• Help candidates understand the process of preparing for online teaching work.
• Connect interested candidates with the appropriate training and support resources.
• Encourage candidates to complete their training and follow through with the pathway.
• Maintain communication with prospects throughout the recruitment process.
• Build referral networks through schools, universities, professional groups, online communities, social media, and personal networks.
• Keep accurate records of candidates referred and their progress.
