About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Transversal Business Analyst to support the development and continuous improvement of digital banking services within a leading financial institution.

This role focuses on managing complex business initiatives that span multiple products, departments, processes and delivery teams.

You will take ownership of cross-functional projects, bringing together stakeholders from Business, IT, Product Management, Compliance, Legal and Risk to identify opportunities, define solutions and ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Stakeholder Management and Project Coordination, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Experience with Digital Client Onboarding, KYC and regulatory processes is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-functional business initiatives from initial discovery through implementation.

• Lead business analysis activities across multiple teams, products and business domains.

• Identify business opportunities, assess feasibility and recommend practical solutions.

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, requirements and expected outcomes.

• Coordinate between Business, IT, Product Owners, Compliance, Legal and Risk teams.

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and requirements-gathering sessions.

• Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements, business capabilities and delivery plans.

• Develop business cases, impact assessments, process improvements and strategic recommendations.

• Identify and manage project dependencies, risks and delivery challenges.

• Support digital product discovery, customer journey mapping, MVP development and solution validation.

• Ensure alignment between business objectives, customer requirements and technical delivery.

• Support Agile teams throughout implementation, testing and adoption.

• Prepare presentations and decision-making materials for senior management.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Transversal Business Analyst or Business Transformation Analyst.

• Proven experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements engineering and process improvement.

• Experience delivering digital transformation or digital banking initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple teams without direct management authority.

• Experience conducting workshops, gathering requirements and facilitating decision-making.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience developing business cases, impact assessments and implementation roadmaps.

• Ability to work independently and bring structure to complex or ambiguous business challenges.

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities.

Highly Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within Banking, Financial Services or Financial Technology.

• Knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML, Digital Client Onboarding or Regulatory Compliance.

• Experience improving digital customer journeys and online banking platforms.

• Experience working with Compliance, Legal and Risk stakeholders.

• Knowledge of enterprise-wide business processes and shared digital capabilities.

• Experience with product discovery, design thinking, innovation or MVP development.

• Experience using data insights to support business decisions and digital improvements.

Education & Languages

• Master's Degree required.

• English: Fluent - mandatory.

• Dutch or French: Excellent proficiency in at least one - mandatory.

• Business Analysis, Agile, Design Thinking or Workshop Facilitation certifications are advantageous.
