Umbraco Developer

Random Sequence LLC is growing, for a 3 months contract (initially) we’re looking for an experienced Umbraco Developer to join our network and work with us on web projects where clean engineering, problem-solving, and good architecture matter!

Random Sequence is a software studio focused on building thoughtful, scalable digital solutions for ambitious founders, business owners, and technical teams. The company specializes in turning fragmented ideas and complex challenges into reliable, well-designed software products.

Random Sequence emphasizes understanding client problems, designing robust systems, and creating solutions that can grow with evolving business needs.

The team operates with a remote-friendly mindset, valuing autonomy, excellence, and collaboration. Team members are encouraged to learn, experiment, and solve real-world problems while contributing to impactful software solutions.

Must have:

- 3+ years of professional experience with Umbraco

- Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core

- Solid C# development skills

- Strong experience with SQL Server

- Good understanding of web development fundamentals

- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and backend services

Frontend knowledge is important too:

- Experience with modern frontend libraries/frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar

- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

- Comfortable working across backend and frontend when needed

And yes, AI is part of the job 🤷‍♀️

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with AI as a development tool, using AI assistants to research, troubleshoot, prototype, generate and review code, and improve productivity without blindly trusting the output.

- Can work independently in a remote environment

- Cares about clean, maintainable and scalable code

- Enjoys understanding why something is built, not just how

- Is comfortable learning new technologies and approaches

- Has an interest in modern web architecture, AI, or digital transformation
