Vice President – Compliance

Role Description The Vice President – Compliance is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing regulatory changes, providing guidance to business units, conducting compliance risk assessments, and reviewing key processes for potential gaps. The Vice President – Compliance will also develop and update compliance policies, coordinate training programs, and prepare reports for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Collaboration with finance, legal, and operations teams is essential to ensure that compliance requirements are integrated into business activities and risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with experience in designing and overseeing compliance frameworks.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate risks, interpret regulations, and support data-driven compliance decisions.
• Candidates should possess a background in Finance and Financial Services, ideally with exposure to regulatory requirements affecting these sectors.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to advise leadership and collaborate across teams.
• Advanced degree in law, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in senior compliance roles.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., compliance, risk management, or audit) are beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and maintain high ethical standards in all professional activities.
