Breet is building the future of crypto in Africa making it easier for people to buy, sell, swap, and spend crypto through simple products and exceptional experiences.

We’re looking for a Video Editor who can help bring our content to life across social media. Someone who understands that good editing isn’t just about making things look nice it’s about telling a story, keeping people engaged, and making content that works for the platform.

What you'll do.

You'll be one of the people responsible for making sure Breet looks as good as the things we're building.

You’ll:

• Edit video content for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create quick-turnaround content using CapCut and other editing tools.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, music, and other elements that improve the content.
• Handle basic colour correction and ensure videos are polished and platform-ready.
• Work closely with the Content team to bring creative ideas and concepts to life.
• Keep up with social media trends and editing styles that can help our content perform better.
• Manage multiple editing requests and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final output meets the required standard.

What we're looking for?

You should have:

• 2–4 years of experience editing digital/social media content.
• Strong working knowledge of tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
• A good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and what makes social content engaging.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual consistency.
• Good time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your editing skills and range.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating content for fintech, crypto, tech, or other fast-paced digital brands.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation, particularly After Effects.
• Experience creating short-form, trend-led content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to shoot or direct simple video content when needed.
• Experience working with AI-powered video or creative tools.
• A strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices.
