Video Editor - Arabic Speaker

Role Description

The Video Editor – Arabic Speaker is a full-time hybrid role based in Doha, Qatar, with some flexibility for work from home. This role involves editing video content for social media and digital platforms, ensuring high-quality storytelling and visual consistency in Arabic. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and organizing clips, adding transitions and effects, and integrating sound, graphics, and motion elements to create polished deliverables. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with producers, creators, and designers to adapt content to platform-specific formats and maintain brand guidelines. The role also includes color grading, basic motion graphics work, and optimizing video content for engagement and reach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media content.
• Strong ability in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance storytelling.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and good command of English for collaboration and feedback.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, formats, and best practices for short-form and long-form video.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in media, content creation, or agency environments; a portfolio or showreel showcasing recent work.
• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience is valued.
