We're a small, growing photography and video production company based in Toronto, Canada, serving clients across Canada and the USA in fintech, pharma, education, the arts, legal and more. Our team of five works remotely, and our workload has grown to the point where we need another editor who can cut clean, professional work and bring fresh creative energy to it.
This role is open to editors anywhere in Latin America.
The role
You'll edit corporate interview-based videos, other corporate content, and social content for our clients. Some projects you'll run with creative direction from our co-founder; on others you'll work alongside our editing team.
What you'll be doing
- Building corporate and brand stories from interviews: finding the narrative, selecting answers, and shaping a clean, polished cut
- Editing other corporate content such as event recaps, explainers and internal communications
- Cutting social versions, mainly vertical, with strong hooks and pacing that holds attention
- Turning around client revisions quickly and carefully
Must have
- Strong editing in DaVinci Resolve (we can provide a Studio license if needed)
- A reel that shows interview-based or corporate work, plus at least one short-form social piece
- Clean, professional instincts: good story structure, sound edits, and attention to detail
- Strong English, written and spoken. You'll work directly with our team and sometimes with clients.
- Reliable internet and a machine that handles 4K Resolve projects
Bonus
- AI-assisted editing workflows. We use Claude connected to Resolve through MCP, so experience with that, or similar tools, stands out.
- Retention-based editing for YouTube
- Anything else creative you bring: motion graphics, colour, sound design, photography, writing
The details
- Contract: 3 months. If it's a good fit, we'd look to extend into an annual contract with a raise and paid holidays.
- Hours: 30 per week, Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm Toronto time (Eastern). We're open to discussing hours and structure.
- Pay: CAD $2,100–2,600/month, based on experience, paid via Wise
- Start: as soon as possible, ideally Monday, November 23
- Holidays: our studio closes December 21 to January 1. This period is unpaid under this initial contract.
- Location: remote, Latin America
How we hire
- Apply through our form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfnEhHvSMIliaFMtG84nnX_ozuhkOvNYWgqIapA_8U3n-1HBQ/viewform
- A 20-minute video call
- A paid test edit (CAD $200)
- An offer
A note on applying
I read every application personally. Please write to us the way you'd talk to us. Generic or AI-generated applications get skipped, and I'd rather not waste each other's time. In the form, tell us a bit about who you are and about an edit you're proud of. Those answers matter more to me than a polished cover letter.
