We're hiring on behalf of a client—a robotics company based in Atlanta with a strong customer base across Asia. They're looking for one creative person to own their video content from start to finish. What the work looks like $2,000/month retainer. Open to negotiation – honestly, we have no idea what a realistic budget is. 1-2 days of shooting per month , either at the Atlanta office or customer sites in the US (client covers any travel + lodging costs) Planning the shoot, helping with scripting, contributing ideas Editing on your own time, availability via company chat or email Roughly 5–10 LinkedIn clips and 1-2 YouTube videos per month is what we have in mind. But that depends on the complexity Ideally, you bring your own equipment. But we're open to purchasing/renting what is needed. What we're looking for Curiosity. You don't need a robotics background. You do need to genuinely want to understand how the technology works and think about how to make it interesting to a buyer who's evaluating a serious investment. If you get excited by that kind of challenge, this is a great fit. Ownership. This is a small team and they can't hand you a perfect brief every time. You'll need to take what you learn, make good editorial calls, and deliver without a lot of hand-holding. If you thrive with that kind of autonomy, great. Film and edit. They want one person who can do both. If you have a trusted editor you work with and can maintain quality and cost-efficiency that way, they're open to it — but the creative direction stays with you either way. Flexibility. Shoot days and field visits don't always follow a neat schedule. You'll generally have notice, but you need to be able to move when the opportunity is there. Where this could go The company is growing and has a funding round ahead. As they scale, this engagement grows with them — more content, more travel, more scope. For the right person, there's also a path to a full-time role down the line if that's something you'd want. If not, the retainer works just as well as a long-term freelance relationship. No pressure either way. How to apply Send us a link to your work — LinkedIn videos, YouTube, anything that shows you can tell a compelling story in a technical or B2B context. Add a quick note on why this sounds interesting to you. No formal cover letter needed. DM us and we'll make the introduction.
