Role Description The Volunteer Python Django Instructor will deliver interactive, project-based lessons in Python programming and Django web development to children and young learners. This full-time hybrid role is based in Lekki, with a combination of on-site teaching and some work-from-home responsibilities for lesson planning, content creation, and student support. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson materials, teaching classes, guiding students through coding exercises, reviewing assignments, and providing individualized feedback. The instructor will collaborate with other educators to refine the curriculum, integrate real-world projects, and support learners in building problem-solving and technopreneurial skills. The role also involves maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment and using simple, age-appropriate explanations to make complex concepts accessible.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and Django framework, including building and deploying basic web applications.
- Experience teaching or mentoring children or beginners in technology or coding, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, such as version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and documentation.
- Ability to design engaging, project-based lessons and learning activities aligned with clear educational objectives.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and supportive teaching.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, attending classes on-site in Lekki while completing planning and feedback tasks remotely.
- Prior experience in educational settings, tech bootcamps, or community training programs is beneficial.
- Relevant coursework or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Education, or a related field is an advantage, but practical teaching and coding experience are highly valued.
