Who We Are
CatalyzeX helps growing companies scale through modern outsourcing, connecting them with top-tier remote talent across e-commerce, healthcare, legal, and software. We are looking for a YouTube Strategist who can own a brand's channel end to end and turn it into a consistent driver of views, subscribers, and real business results.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow the brand's YouTube channel, including long-form videos, Shorts, and community posts
- Build and execute a channel strategy that grows views, watch time, subscribers, and audience retention
- Research topics, keywords, and competitor channels to find video ideas with real search and browse demand
- Plan and maintain the content calendar so uploads stay consistent and on schedule
- Write or refine video concepts, outlines, and hooks that keep viewers watching past the first 30 seconds
- Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and end screens for search and discoverability
- Design and A/B test thumbnails, and work with editors on pacing, structure, and retention
- Repurpose long-form content into Shorts and clips for other platforms
- Monitor comments and engage with the community in a timely, on-brand way
- Track performance in YouTube Studio and report on CTR, retention, watch time, and subscriber growth
- Stay on top of algorithm changes, trending formats, and what's working on the platform, and adjust the strategy based on what the numbers show
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on YouTube channel management or strategy experience, ideally supporting US-based brands
- A proven track record of growing a channel; you can point to real results in views, retention, or subscribers
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, the algorithm, and what makes a viewer click and keep watching
- A sharp eye for thumbnails, titles, and pacing
- Comfortable with tools like YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy or vidIQ, and Canva or Photoshop; video editing experience (Premiere, CapCut, or similar) is a plus
- Data-driven; you read analytics and turn them into clear next steps
- Self-directed and organized; you can run the channel with light oversight
- Fluent, natural English for scripts, titles, and community engagement
