We are seeking an experienced AI Engineering Lead to guide technical delivery across high priority transformation initiatives. In this contract role, you will take ownership of artificial intelligence solutions from an end to end delivery perspective, focusing directly on modernising client onboarding and the customer journey.

As the AI Engineering Lead, you will work across multiple product squads to architect, build, and deploy production grade artificial intelligence capabilities. You will partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to turn strategic use cases into tangible systems that simplify onboarding workflows and elevate customer interactions.

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap for client onboarding and customer journey transformation projects
• Design and implement resilient artificial intelligence solutions across diverse business squads
• Lead engineering squads through the complete development lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Translate business requirements and specific financial use cases into production ready software architectures
• Collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Uphold high standards for code quality, system performance, and technical reliability

• Proven background leading engineering teams in the architecture and delivery of artificial intelligence systems
• Strong background working within financial services or enterprise scale digital environments
• Demonstrated success delivering machine learning or artificial intelligence use cases into production
• Deep technical expertise in modern software engineering practices, cloud environments, and data pipelines
• Experience collaborating with cross functional squads in an agile setup
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical concepts and commercial objectives
