About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, field-based Boiler Service Engineer to execute technical servicing, maintenance, and operational support for industrial steam boilers, valves, and pressure system components. In this site-focused position, you will perform multi-skilled mechanical and electrical service work, conduct field diagnostics, manage customer technical reports, and ensure compliance with strict pressure systems safety standards across industrial facilities in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Field Servicing & Maintenance:
• Execute routine, preventive, and emergency servicing on industrial steam boilers, pressure vessels, control valves, and associated mechanical/electrical equipment.

• System Diagnostics & Fault Finding:
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults across industrial pressure systems and implement safe, effective technical solutions.
• Technical Reporting:
• Compile detailed site service reports, maintenance certificates, and technical documentation following every site visit.

• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to strict industrial safety standards, pressure systems regulations, and site-specific permit-to-work protocols.

• Client Engagement:
• Communicate technical diagnostics, operating recommendations, and service outcomes clearly to site engineering teams and facility managers.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications:
• HNC/HND in Engineering (or recognized equivalent), Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance / Management Accounting.

Required Skills

• Field Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant hands-on field service experience in industrial mechanical and electrical environments (strictly site-based, not workshop or classroom only).

• Home Country Certification:
• National steam boiler operator certificate (or recognized equivalent) is mandatory.

• Multi-Skilled Capability:
• Demonstrated competence in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.

• Language & Visa Eligibility:
• Demonstration of English language proficiency at CEFR level B2 across reading, writing, speaking, and listening (via UKVI IELTS SELT or Ecctis-verified English-medium degree).
• Full eligibility and willingness to relocate to the UK under Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

• Driving License:
• Valid, full driving license in home country.

Preferred Skills

• Desirable Certifications:
• Industrial pipe fitter certificate, national electrical installer qualification, or occupational health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC) are advantageous.
