About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Domestic/Commercial Gas Service Engineer to carry out servicing, maintenance, and technical inspections on domestic and commercial gas heating and combustion equipment. In this field-based role, you will deliver hands-on site servicing, execute gas safety inspections, build industrial steam/hot water system capabilities, and complete professional technical documentation while preparing for UK ACS gas accreditation post-arrival.

Responsibilities

• Gas Equipment Servicing: Perform maintenance, safety testing, and servicing on domestic, commercial, and light industrial gas appliances and combustion units.
• Diagnostic & Repair: Conduct electrical and mechanical fault-finding on gas burners, control panels, pipework, and commercial heating systems.
• Technical Certification: Draft precise technical service reports, safety certificates, and customer documentation following site inspections.
• Transition to Industrial Systems: Expand technical scope to support commercial steam, hot water systems, and industrial boiler equipment under senior engineering mentorship.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain rigorous compliance with gas safety regulations, pressure requirements, and environmental controls on client sites.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: HNC/HND in Engineering (or recognized equivalent), Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance / Management Accounting.
• Field Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on field experience servicing domestic and/or commercial gas equipment and combustion systems.
• Home Country Certification: National natural gas heating and gas-fired appliance service certificate (or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Desirable Certifications: Steam boiler operator certificate, national internal gas installation qualification, electrical installer credentials, or engineer-level gas installation qualifications.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of domestic/commercial gas principles, burner operation, electrical controls, and basic commercial steam/hot water loops.
• Language & Visa Eligibility: Proven English language competence at CEFR level B2 across all four components (SELT IELTS for UKVI or Ecctis-approved degree). Eligible and ready for UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
• Driving License: Valid, full driving license in home country.
