Finance Agent Orchestration Manager

About the Role

Join the finance team at a venture capital and private equity firm as its second finance hire. Working with the Head of Finance, you will oversee core financial operations across multiple funds and lead the rollout of an AI-enabled fund administration platform.

What You'll Do

• Own fund accounting, limited partner reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.

• Lead implementation and calibration of an AI-enabled fund administration platform.

• Automate repetitive finance workflows using suitable tools and systems.

• Maintain accurate investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.

• Support strategic projects with the Head of Finance, including office acquisitions and cross-portfolio work.

What We're Looking For

• Three to five or more years of experience in VC or private equity fund accounting, fund administration, investment fund audit, or finance implementation at an AI-focused finance company.

• Practical experience producing LP reporting, including quarterly reports and capital account statements.

• Fluency in capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.

• Experience building or improving finance workflows using tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Interest in deep tech, science, or impact alongside a strong finance background.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $133,000 to $160,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, United States.
