To do that, we're closing the data gap that exists in wearables today, gut health and nutrition.

Suna is a wellness wearable for your gut. It listens to your gut around the clock, through sound, and turns what it hears into something you can read every morning. Think of it as the Fitbit for your gut and nutrition. On top of it sits the Oracle, a personal health agent. It joins what the patch hears to the context of your life, what you ate, your calendar, the weather, your email, and talks to you where you already are, on WhatsApp or iMessage. We are a small founding team in London and San Francisco, and we build the device, the models and the app ourselves.

The role

You own the electronics end to end: schematic, layout, RF and antenna. Every board spin in-house, with a radio that survives being worn on skin.

You may own

Schematics and architecture: component selection, block diagrams, power and battery budgets.

PCB layout: placement, stack-up, manufacturing documentation and supplier conversations.

The RF and antenna work: simulation, matching and tuning against a body, not a test bench.

Certification-ready design: built for CE, FCC and battery certification from the first schematic, and you walk each board through the lab yourself.

You'll fit if

You have taken consumer electronics from schematic to production and have the failed boards to prove it.

RF and antenna are your normal work, not a black box you hand to someone else.

Small is your default: wearables, hearables, sensors, boards that fight for every square millimetre.

How we work

Full-time, in person, at our San Francisco office. This role is San Francisco only.

Salary plus equity.

We work a lot (including weekends) and it will never be a strict 9-to-5.

This is not for you if

- No prior interest in health and health tech.

- You are high maintenance.

- You chase big names and vanity metrics over the mission.

- You want a strict 9-to-5. This will never be that.
